  • Diagnosis of moderate to severe COPD

  • Current or former smoker

  • BMI >25

  • No diagnosis of asthma 

  • No Type 1 Diabetes

  • No diagnosis of kidney or liver disease

Qualifications

  • 18-75 years of age

  • Body Mass Index > 30 OR

  • Body Mass Index > 27 if also diagnosed with one or more of the following: 

    • Hypertension​

    • High Cholesterol

    • Cardiovascular Disease

    • Osteoarthritis of the Knee

    • Fatty Liver Disease

  • No Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes

  • Additional criteria may apply​
